  • Balboa Park

    Balboa Park began as 1400 acres of land set aside in 1868 by San Diego civic leaders.     Kid Volunteer opportunities

    Children age 10 and older can volunteer with a parent/guardian in a variety of ways at Father Joe’s Village, which is the largest rehabilitation program for the homeless in San Diego, preparing over 3,000 meals daily.
