BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Richard M. Renkin & Associates
In 1987, Richard Renkin was admitted to the State Bar of California. Mr. Renkin has focused his practice in Family Law since 1991 and is Certified Family Law Specialist.
Mr. Renkin has expertly handled all phases of Trials, Mediation, and Negotiation in areas including Marriage Dissolution, Property Division, Spousal Support, Child Support, and Child Custody and Visitation. He has managed numerous high-asset cases involving complex tracings of hundreds of thousands of dollars over decades.
Additionally, Mr. Renkin has handled numerous Marriage Dissolution, Child Custody, and Visitation cases involving the military and move-away issues, as well as the complex issues of mental health and drug and alcohol dependency. High-asset and high-conflict cases involving property valued in excess of a million dollars have been settled both through negotiation and litigation at trial.
Mr. Renkin has the honor of acting as a Settlement Conference Judge Pro Tem for the Downtown, South Bay and East County Family Courts. Mr. Renkin is also honored to be one of the referral attorneys of the San Diego County Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS). He qualified for LRIS by having been involved in a requisite number of trials, orders to show cause, and marital settlement agreements.
